Fast and Effective Treatment for Trauma
We are pleased to announce that we are providing a service to our clients in which we can clear a person’s traumas in as few as one or two sessions. No need to go through years of therapy to resolve past issues. We can help you clear your trauma and move forward feeling lighter and more confident.
Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) is a technique registered on the SAMHSA National Registry of Evidenced-based Programs and Practices. This means it is PROVEN effective and is backed by our gold standard for treatment programs.
As with any type of counseling we cannot guarantee results. However, many have found freedom from their past traumas through TIR.
What to Expect
Once you book your session with one of our trained and experienced therapists, what’s next?
You will come in for an initial interview so we can get to know you, understand your concerns, determine if TIR is right for you, and prepare you for your first TIR session.
After the initial session we will schedule you for a TIR session or an Unblocking session (depending on your interest/concerns).
We can do TIR on multiple events, issues, feelings, or concerns. The goal for each session is to release the emotional charges related to an issue of your choice, ending at a point where you feel better about that particular issue. A session usually lasts between 40 to 90 minutes, but it can last longer.
Your Therapist’s Role is Very Different
You might be used a therapist or practitioner telling you what your problems are and giving you an interpretation or advice. In Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR), the facilitator will not do this. In TIR, a facilitator operates under a strict set of rules which are designed to empower you. A facilitator’s role is to support the work YOU do in viewing your life experiences and integrating them so that they can become a source of information and personal growth from which to draw upon in creating a new future for yourself.
The Key To Successful Healing
TIR consists of a series of instructions to help you locate and review one past traumatic incident at a time, bring up memories, so that the full incident can be reviewed and the emotional charge associated with it can be released once and for all. This might sound painful and distressing, but viewers often report that this process is actually liberating, rather than distressing.
It is easier to spend the time going through an incident and fully facing it, rather than spending a lot of energy repressing or holding off the incident or the painful feelings associated with it. We will be going through an incident as many times as necessary to fully discharge the energy associated with that event, or series of events. This repetition is the key to the success of TIR.
The facilitator will go over the TIR instructions with you again before the start of a session so that you will know what to expect. In reviewing the TIR steps, we will go through a practice session by reviewing a non-traumatic experience such as having breakfast this morning, so you get familiar with steps before we start a real session.
